Based on these efforts, the company researched new ways to improve our community as well. Archive Systems' Go Green initiative was launched in 2007 and has achieved significant results.

Since the Go Green initiative started, Archive Systems has recycled over 3,700 tons of packaging and raw materials. This conserved 64,100 mature trees, 1,749,000 gallons of oil, 90,600 gallons of gasoline, 15,501,000 kilowatt hours of electricity,26,465,000 gallons of water, and 13,100 cubic yards of landfill according to the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, Institute of Scrap Recycling Industries.

The Go Green initiative has also been significantly enhanced by ASPEN 360. The Virtual Records Center enables companies to request the virtual file delivery of documents, eliminating driving emissions. Because the files are available online, there's no need to make copies to distribute. ASPEN Accounts Payable automates the AP process and stores all the approval information online, so there’s no need to copy pages or manually route information throughout a company. ASPEN Accounts Payable also enables AP processors to work from home. All of the information they’ll need to approve an invoice is available online and can be securely accessed from any location. Once they approve an invoice, ASPEN Accounts Payable automatically routes it throughout the organization based on existing business rules.
