Archive Systems Raises Over $2,000 for American Red Cross
Tsunami Relief and Recovery Efforts

Company and Employees Come Together to Make a Difference

Fairfield, NJ (March 21, 2005) - Archive Systems, a Fairfield, NJ business providing Document Process Outsourcing (DPO) services, responded to the recent tsunami devastation in South Asia and East Africa, by accepting donations from employees for the American Red Cross.

Archive Systems employees from three locations – Fairfield and Washington, NJ and Phoenix, AZ - donated a total of $1,108. The company also matched the amount of funds raised by employees and provided the $2,216 donation to the American Red Cross of Metropolitan New Jersey.

“Immediately after the tragedy occurred our employees expressed an interest in helping out in some way,” stated Rick Kushel, President & CEO of Archive Systems. “We were happy to start a fundraiser and match the amount raised to help the Red Cross’ efforts to provide medicine, clothing, food, and shelter for victims.”

“With the tsunamis taking tens of thousands of lives, leaving tens of thousands missing and hundreds of thousands homeless, recovery will be slow,” stated Nancy Mink-Fondaco, Development Director, American Red Cross of Metropolitan NJ. “Donations from local businesses like Archive Systems, allow us to put forth effort in every way possible to restore stability and begin the project of rebuilding for these disaster victims.”

About The American Red Cross of Metropolitan New Jersey
The American Red Cross of Metropolitan New Jersey is the largest and busiest chapter in the state of New Jersey. Disaster calls number approximately 320 a year, with an average of 2,180 people displaced from their homes due to fire. We answer all 320 calls, day or night, to serve those 2,180 people in desperate need. Those statistics are for a good year. In a bad year, we have a Hurricane Floyd, a Northwest New Jersey flood, local floods and the worst of all explosions, chemical spills, and catastrophic events such as the World Trade Center. Each event mobilizes volunteers, staff, equipment and around the clock service. As threats to our nation’s safety and security become greater, so too, are the challenges, training, and expenses facing your local American Red Cross chapter to provide service to these events.
