processes. Archive Systems has streamlined Pathmark's Human Resources operations by
reducing information processing times and increasing employee access to business-critical
information.
Pathmark needed to extend secure, instant access to employee records
to Associate-Relations staff in multiple locations. The company sought to maximize the
financial return on a new solution by eliminating in-house hardcopy records storage and
labor-intensive, on-site scanning tasks. Archive Systems delivered comprehensive Web-based
image hosting, including high-volume off-site document conversion, scan-on-demand, and the
migration of an antiquated imaging system to Archive DocuLogic.
Pathmark owns 143 supermarkets with 28,000 employees in the greater
New York metro area. Leveraging the Archive Systems solution, Pathmark's management of
employee records is now distributed among 30 Human Resources employees in three
locations-as opposed to three employees in one location. Employee-related issues are
resolved in minutes instead of hours or days. Increased access and operational efficiencies
have resulted in significant cost savings.
