Fairfield, NJ (April 21, 2003) Archive Systems, Inc.,
a leading provider of web-based hosted imaging and document storage services, announces it
has recently contracted with AnnTaylor Stores Corporation (NYSE: ANN) to provide its unique
combination of document management solutions helping AnnTaylor streamline its business
processes. Archive Systems is initially deployed within the Accounting Department to reduce
information processing time and increase employee access to business-critical information.
AnnTaylor operates over 580 stores in 42 states, the District of

paper-based documents to perform research associated with their daily operation. The

offsite document conversion and redundant image hosting services.
Using Archive DocuLogic, AnnTaylors Accounting & Tax departments more
efficiently processes several thousand invoices and employee expense reports per week, and
Archive DocuLogic offers the scalability to extend the use of AnnTaylors Oracle Financial
database. In addition, AnnTaylor can now reduce its physical storage requirement by more
easily tracking and eliminating unnecessary files. Without investing in hardware, software
or technology of any kind, AnnTaylor gained significant business continuity and disaster
recovery capabilities that are inherent to the Archive Systems infrastructure.
The Archive DocuLogic web-based solution has enabled unlimited, instant
access to all paid invoices and employee expense reports to AnnTaylor staff in multiple
offices including their two New York City locations, the New Haven, CT office as well as
their Louisville, KY distribution center. Through the use of customized search screens,
various departments have immediate access to documentation that previously took days to
produce. Verifying and validating vendor and employee payments are now done instantaneously
by end-users. AnnTaylor has realized meaningful business convenience savings as well as
increased staff productivity. Future imaging initiatives include Letters of Credit,
