Company participates in A. Harry Moore Program Gift Drive for handicapped children
Fairfield, NJ (December 22, 2006) - Archive Systems is kicking off its Holiday Toy and Gift Drive for children in need at the A. Harry Moore school in Jersey City, a school for physically and mentally handicapped children, on December 22nd at 10 a.m.
"Due to the extent of their disabilities many of these children are wards of the state or taken care of by family members that can barely afford their medical care," stated Elene Costan, Director of Human Resources at Archive Systems and Co-Founder of the A. Harry Moore Program. "In conjunction with the teachers of the school, myself and Dresdner Robin Environmental Management Company, a program was initiated to purchase these children gifts for the holidays."
In the program, the children provide wish lists and employees select a child to present a wrapped gift to. On December 22nd the gifts will be delivered by representatives from Archive Systems, Inc. Santa and Mrs. Clause will be present to hand out the gifts.
"Our company is always happy to take part in a program that reaches out to the children in our community," said Costan. "For many, this is the only gift they will receive so we are happy to participate and give the toys or other things the kids are in need of this holiday season."
