FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:
Rob DeVincent to Focus on Advanced Imaging and Workflow for Accounts Payable
Fairfield, NJ (March 6, 2008) - Archive Systems, Inc., a leading provider of accounts payable automation, today announced the promotion of Rob DeVincent to the position of Vice President of Product Marketing.
Mr. DeVincent has been with Archive Systems since 2004 and has played a vital role in developing the strength of ASPEN 360 Accounts Payable Edition (AP Edition). "We already have a well established technology which provides our clients advanced imaging and workflow for their accounts payable invoice processing. The AP Edition gives our clients enhanced purchase-to-pay processing for all their vendor invoices, not just a specialized subset such as procurement. It’s a great product, we have a significant lead already and I look forward to putting more distance between the AP Edition and its competitors," said Rob DeVincent.
"I’m very excited to have Rob step into this new role. He has an extensive background in accounting and invoice processing and has been instrumental in helping us define and deliver such capabilities as ZeroTouch and Straight Through Processing of invoices," stated Dave Craig, President of Archive Systems. "What really sets the AP Edition apart is that AP Best Practices are built into the system. Rob has been behind that. He has insured that capabilities like line item capture, PO matching, and automated 3-way matching are delivered in a way that supports the needs and requirements of the AP department and the enterprise. After all, efficiency without compliance would not be a happy compromise. Rob has made sure the AP Edition embraced both."
Mr. DeVincent brings over 17 years of experience in the Accounting and Accounts Payable area. He previously worked for Avon Products Inc., where he led the initiative to streamline the Accounts Payable department by implementing a shared services model which included automated imaging and workflow for Accounts Payable. Mr. DeVincent was also instrumental in other finance and accounting initiatives including implementing a travel and expense management system, a financial planning and forecasting system, and ERP systems.
Since joining Archive Systems, Mr. DeVincent has been predominantly focused on the Accounts Payable area, gathering market research on the needs and best practices of world class companies to provide the roadmap for the ASPEN 360 AP workflow solution. Mr. DeVincent is also actively involved in speaking at various AP conferences including IAPP, IOMA, and IQPC.
