"Partnering with Archive Systems has allowed our staff to focus on our core business – practicing law, not hunting down files. In our business, time is critical and having a partner that can meet our growing records management demands is paramount. Archive Systems’ comprehensive offering supports our requirements, regardless of whether we need a physical file or require on-demand scanning and digital document delivery."

Office Administrator, Lowenstein Sandler

  Need

Lowenstein Sandler PC is a nationally recognized, AmLaw 200 law firm with offices in New Jersey and New York. The firm represents a wide range of clients including public and private companies, financial institutions, investors, entrepreneurs, governmental agencies and universities.

As a nationally recognized and top ranked firm in NJ, attorneys at Lowenstein Sandler rely on the immediate retrieval and delivery of files for time-sensitive matters. Prior to partnering with Archive Systems, acquiring documents was painstaking for Lowenstein Sandler. Their previous provider was not able to meet the firm’s growing demands, resulting in highly inconsistent customer service and inadequate records storage services. Lowenstein Sandler decided to look for a full service, off-site, hard copy records storage provider to improve their records management program.

  Solution

The firm turned to Archive Systems to increase efficiency with a solution that provides secure and dependable records management services. Archive Systems tracks a file level inventory contained in each of the firm’s individual containers and provides the firm with multiple scheduled pick ups and deliveries every day. Lowenstein Sandler’s IT department also takes advantage of vault storage and tape rotation services for disaster recovery support.

Since partnering in 1995, the volume of hard copy records Lowenstein Sandler stores with Archive Systems increased from 10,000 to over 70,000 cubic feet and expanded to support new business areas. Lowenstein Sandler is now imaging closing binders for specific deal transactions through Archive Systems’ Conversion Services Group. The firm’s M&A and corporate finance groups have also partnered with Archive Systems for specialized work, including the imaging of deal documents.

  Benefits

By implementing Archive Systems’ comprehensive records management program, Lowenstein Sandler has been able to take advantage of a service offering that is structured, secure, always available, and cost-effective. Same-day access to critical client documentation enables the firm to operate more efficiently and provide a greater level of customer service to their clients. Of equal importance, Lowenstein Sandler has incorporated Business Continuity and Disaster
Recovery into their records management program through the utilization of Archive Systems’ vault storage and tape rotation program.
